It's a Knockout - 11 September 2011
Crossroads Care’s It’s a Knockout Challenge is on Sunday 11th September at Macclesfield Rugby Club Priory Lane Macclesfield.
The day is guaranteed to be full of fun and laughter, with giant inflatables, water and foam - the perfect mixture for a wonderful weekend getting wet and wild!
By taking part, not only will you have a fun day with family, friends and co-workers, you will be helping to raise much needed funds for a truly worthwhile local charity. The money you raise from taking part in this event will give more carers the opportunity to recharge their batteries and take some time to be themselves.
The information pack contains everything you need to know about our It’s a Knockout challenge and how to take part as a team or an individual.
In order to book your place, simply print and complete the registration form and send this along with your registration fee to Overton House. You may want to collect your teams entries together first so it is a good idea to have a spokesperson who is happy to be the main point of contact.

'The Tatton Singers' Summer Concert
Saturday 25th June from 7.30pm
The Knutsford based choral choir, directed by John Powell will be performing Christine Donkin ‘In paradisum’, Faure ‘Cantique de Jean Racine’, an original piece by Martin Lessons entitled ‘Songs of summer’ (poems Jane Eagland) and Vaughan Williams ‘Three Shakespeare songs’.
Both Martin Lessons and Jane Eagland have waved their usual fee for the concert and requested that the choir fundraise for a local charity instead. Fortunately for Crossroads Care, we were selected as the chosen charity and the local choir have been doing their utmost to raise funds over the last six months with bring and buy sales and a variety of other activities.
After the concert, which should last around 1 hour and 15 minutes, the choir hope that you will join them for a glass of wine and a buffet.
Full details and ticket prices
The Tatton Singer’s have a wonderful reputation for high quality and thoroughly enjoyable concerts which take place throughout the year. If you would like to know more about the choir and their future programme of events then please visit their website at www.thetattonsingers.co.uk/index.html#Home
Please contact Rosemary Beeson, the choir’s Secretary at rosiebee@talktalk.net for more information or to reserve your ticket for the ‘Songs of Summer’ concert.
