How Can Crossroads Care Cheshire East Help?


Young Carers

Crossroads Care Cheshire East provide help with time off from your caring responsibilities, fun activities, someone to talk to, someone to help you understand your caring role and to help balance your responsibilities with school commitments.


One to one support
This support can take place at any time to suit you and will be provided by a trained Crossroads Care Cheshire East Carer Support Worker.

Group Support
We currently have two groups that meet to support young carers.

  • Under 10’s meet fortnightly on Wednesday evenings at 5.15 - 7.15 pm

  • An older group meet each week on Thurs evenings from 5.30 - 7.30pm

Sessions include advice and information plus loads of leisure activities and the chance to spend time other young carers.  Take a look at the Recent Events to see some of the great activities we have taken part in recently.

Crossroads Care Cheshire East also organise regular residential trips which give you the chance for a real break and the opportunity to try all sorts of new pursuits.



When you join our activities you will be able to:

  • Have a break from caring
  • Talk through problems
  • Get some guidance and support

 

Most of all have we will help you have some fun!
